Guest Bedroom (New)

Hi there,

So I’m here to talk to you about the new design within my guest bedroom, I’ve completely changed round the furniture in this room now and I feel the shuffle round works so much better for the room.

The most recent change in this room is the wallpaper, I went for the ‘I Love Wallpaper – Manhattan – White Wallpaper’ @ilovewallpaper.co.uk – I wanted to have the walls in white to keep the room looking clean and to make the space look as spacious as could be. But I also wanted it to stand out and pop which is why I went for the Manhattan wallpaper as it has elements of silver metallic industrial tones in there which really make it stand out.

In the guest bedroom previously I only had the wall that you can see on the left wallpapered and as it was in a beige colour, I was never 100% happy with it as it just blended in to the painted wall and didn’t have any sort of ‘wow factor’! Which brings me to explain why I decided to paper the curved wall aswell. I didn’t know how it was going to turn out but what I did know was, if I didn’t try it I would’ve never known! I thought, because it’s a white wallpaper with a subtle pattern it should look nice.

I am pleased to tell you I absolutely love it!! What a gorgeous bright, bold but subtle statement it brings to the room. It’s exactly what I wanted it to look like! I’m so pleased I wallpapered both walls in the beautiful

My chair in here is the Elizabeth dining chair with chrome legs from @lifestylefurnitureltd <<< click here. I love how well it matches with the rest of the furniture.

My mirror is the diaz mirror from @hollywoodmirrors <<< click here. This mirror will always be a firm fave of mine the quality of it is just so amazing compared to some I have seen out there. Definitely worth paying that little bit more for a quality product.

My desk I made myself by ordering some hairpin legs off ebay and a made to measure top out of corian.

The chanel print was from a company called @laliceprints check them out on Instagram. Mine is in A1 size and I got the frame from ikea.

Overall I’m so so happy with how the room now looks it’s crazy what impact a beautiful statement wallpaper can do to a room and just switching a bit of furniture round. The tones and textures in the Manhattan modern wallpaper helped me style the room to match the existing decor/accessories throughout. The affordability of it aswell is insane, so reasonable for the impact it makes.
