Hello, I’m here to talk to you about my new design in my en-suite.
Previously my en-suite was a nice design but it just wasn’t suited to us as a family, It consisted of a toilet, sink and shower cubicle. Already having 2 other showers in our home our shower cubicle in our en-suite was hardly used, therefore we thought it’d be good to balance it out (2 showers – 2 baths) We are a household that LOVE a nice relaxing bath quite often, more often that not I’d find myself saying “no kids you can’t have a bath yet daddy’s in it”…. (haha) or you could guarantee that I’d want a bath at the same time Craig did etc.
We came up with the genius idea of an en-suite transformation that could give us the second bathtub we dreamed of.
All systems go… We arranged to go visit @easybathrooms after realising they had a showroom not too far away from us. We’d previously had products in the past from easy bathrooms and they were great.
When we visited the showroom I was blown away with the amount they had to offer, their Birstall showroom is our local one and wow it’s huge! There were lots of different bathroom styles all set out with different colour themes/different layouts etc to give you a great vision.
The team at @easybathrooms went through everything with us, our layout, style, measurements, colour choices etc they gave us their advice on what they thought would/wouldn’t work & a 3D plan of the room. I was extremely impressed with the customer service we received throughout they were a huge help and made what I thought was going to be a stressful time so easy!
Previously my en-suite was quite dark, the floor was charcoal tiles, their were no storage at all for the bathroom essentials and I like everything to be out of sight & clutter free. The cubicle shower used up a large amount of space & never got used so it made sense to create a space that was useful for us.
Here’s some BEFORE pictures –
NEW DESIGN
I really wanted a bright and airy feel & look to the newly designed en-suite. When we visited easy bathrooms showroom straight away I fell for a specific tile, but my initial thoughts were they’d be way too large for the space we had. I was wandering round looking at other options but I just kept thinking about the beautiful ones I’d just seen, they’d stuck in my head and I kept imagining how amazing they’d look. Being told that they could actually work in my en-suite made me over the moon, my mind was very happily made up tile wise. I was nervous about the size of them and how they’d look, but honestly it was the best decision ever.
I wanted the wall and floor tiles to be tiled the same so I wanted something very light & subtle but with a bit of character. I think I made the perfect choice. The tiles are so stunning I think they make the space look lovely.
Below you have the finished look.
We went for the Anya white porcelain tile 600x1200mm they are so big and beautiful I’m over the moon with them, I think they really make this space 🙂 we used white grout to keep the feel in here clean & fresh.

Moving onto the sink and toilet, this is the right hand Aire 1200 wc and vanity combination in gloss white. Im so pleased we went with this style I really do love it. The storage is just what we needed, its so useful to be able to put all your bathroom essentials away in one place, clean and clutter free. We upgraded the toilet to the back to wall toilet & soft close seat, it gives such modern contemporary look and it is very comfortable. The basin tap is a waterfall tap and I absolutely love it, I love how classy the waterfall style taps look.

I’ve linked the towel radiator above. I thought I’d add a close up picture to show its true beauty. This is the Eventon 1200 heated towel radiator in grey metallic it’s so gorgeous, the thing I love the most is how it contrasts against the tiles.
Below is a close up of the vanity combo, showing you the tap in more detail. I think it oozes class.
Next up Id like to talk about my freestanding bath. Its huge!!!! I’m absolutely thrilled with it, it’s extremely comfortable, it’s very deep and spacious & it looks so modern and contemporary. I love how the plug and overflow are central and that you can get in the bath at either end. If I get in the bath and want to relax with no tv I lay and look through the velux window and count the stars. If I fancy watching something on tv I lay at the other side and watch my tv in my bedroom as with the door open you can see it very clearly 🙂 It’s absolute bliss having a bath in my en-suite.
My floor standing waterfall bath tap looks so unique, it matches my basin tap. It also has a shower head attached to it which is very useful, I think it looks gorgeous standing in the corner. Its such a simple yet beautiful addition to this space.

I added a lovely chrome towel holder to the wall which I got from eBay & the mirror underneath the velux window was ordered made to measure by a local glass company it was only £14 and I think it looks stunning and what great value for money that is.
And voila… a few accessories are needed to finish this space off fully but overall I am over the moon with how my new designed en-suite looks.
My experience with Easy Bathrooms was great from start to finish, all the staff were so welcoming and helpful and delivery was very smooth.
***** 5 stars from me.
Hope you enjoyed reading.
Take care
