So this is my first time at writing a blog so be kind 🙂
Here you have my main living room, I live in a three storey house and my main living room is located on the first floor. It is a very spacious living area if you visit my page on instagram you can see different views of this room.
I wanted dark wallpaper in this room as I feel dark colours make spacious areas look much more cosy, warm and homely so I went for black piccolo wallpaper from @wallpapersales, I love the look and feels this wallpaper gives although does anyone else have the same problem as me (after a few months I always want to change things) ‘laughs’
The TV unit in here has had an amazing response from my followers, it is from Ikea.
The content to create this look is as follows –
2 besta white units (3 section)
2 white glass tops
6 dark grey grundsvikken doors
6 packs of hinges
However many internal shelves you require.
The units are designed to work together so you can have it however long you want, at the rear of the living room we have the same style units but the (2 section) besta units which creates a 4 door look.
The TV is panasonic 58DX802B it comes on a lovely stand that gives off a floating look and also comes with a sound bar.
The corner sofa in here is called maestro grey from DFS (looking to change this very soon ‘excited’)
It has usb ports and electric reclining at each end of the sofa.
The coffee table was bought from eBay but unfortunately the seller is no longer on there so you can’t find the exact one but if you search 3 tier moving coffee table similar ones come up.
The rug is from dunelm it is very soft and cosy with added sparkles in it.
I hope I have answered a few of the regular questions I get about my living room, I love the minimal and simple look in here I don’t like too much clutter. I struggle at introducing colour to places within my home other than my daughters bedrooms everything tends to have a grey/silver/neutral theme.
I’m sure I’l be switching this room up very soon I have plans in the back of my mind, watch this space!
Thanks for reading
Take care
